One of our most popular treatments! Lip Augmentation is used to enhance the appearance of thin, ageing or asymmetrical lips. The treatment takes approximately 30-45 minutes with 6-12 months longevity depending on the technique used. It can take up to two weeks to completely settle and you may experience some swelling and bruising in the area.

Does lip filler hurt?

Some patients may feel a slight sense of discomfort when having this injectable treatment. But it is usually very mild. Most patients will just feel a tiny scratch as the injection is applied and a tingling sensation as the filler is injected. We can also apply a local anaesthetic to the treatment area to completely minimise discomfort for patients who are feeling particularly anxious.

What are the side effects of lip filler?

Side effects from lip filler may include swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness. This is completely normal and should subside in a couple of days.

How many ml should I have?

We can discuss in depth during your consultation before your treatment to get an understanding of the look you are trying to achieve. We always recommend starting conservatively and building up for the effect you desire. This is because, as with anything, it is much easier to increase until you are happy than reversing a treatment.

How long does lip filler last?

Lip fillers last about 4-6 months, but results can vary depending on the client.
